Medicentre was established in 1978 on Bridge Street, Sligo by Dr Paddy Henry and Dr Brian Gallagher to cater for the medical needs of the town. We moved to our current premises in 2002.There are 3 GP Partners (Dr Tiernan, Dr Barrett and Dr Russell), 2 full time GP’s (Dr Bernabeu and Dr Spellman), 2 full time nurses (Naomh and Emma), one GP registrar in training along with a comprehensive administration team.

We are a training Practice being part of the Sligo GP Training Scheme for many years.  Students from National University Of Ireland, Galway and University College Dublin rotate through the practice as part of their medical education.

Our main focus is our patient health and to provide services that are delivered to the highest standards by a strong focused team of professionals.
